NEW: Haaland Campaign Raises $3.7M Since Launch
Haaland continues to set a record pace in her campaign for governor
Albuquerque, N.M. – Today, the Deb Haaland for New Mexico campaign announced that she has reached nearly $3,700,000 in contributions from nearly 51,000 individuals, with an average online contribution of just $37 in addition to over 14,000 donations from New Mexicans. The fundraising haul comes after Haaland set a record pace raising more than $2 million dollars in the first 30 days of her campaign.
“I am extremely grateful for the support our campaign has received over the past few months. We’re running a grassroots campaign to fight for hardworking New Mexicans. This campaign is going to be funded by the people, and that’s the way it should be,” said Deb Haaland.
Educators continue to be the top occupation among donors, followed by retirees, legal professionals, and medical workers—highlighting the deep support from those who serve their communities. The campaign has raised over a million dollars and counting from New Mexicans, a monumental haul that further illustrates her strong base of grassroots support in New Mexico.
“The sustained enthusiasm that our campaign has seen over the past couple of months has been extraordinary. These numbers reflect what we’re seeing on the ground—New Mexicans are ready for leadership that puts them first,” said Felicia Salazar, Haaland’s deputy campaign manager and communications director. “Secretary Haaland’s message is resonating across every county in our state because people know her story and trust her to deliver for our communities. This grassroots momentum isn’t just about numbers. It’s a testament to a real movement that Deb will harness to change the system for all New Mexicans.”
This follows a week where Haaland released several videos directly addressing New Mexicans, highlighting her commitment to protecting Medicaid and clean energy jobs for New Mexicans, and combating Trump and the GOP’s harmful agenda.
