Weekend Recap: Deb Haaland Campaign Hits Five Counties in 48 Hours
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Over the weekend, Deb Haaland, who is running to be New Mexico’s next governor, travelled across the state, meeting with voters to share her vision for New Mexico.
Haaland was excited to answer questions about her education policy plan that she rolled out in January. Crowd favorites include expanding career pathways into middle and high school and Haaland’s every child outdoors initiative that incorporates outdoor learning into K-12 curriculums.
“Everything I will do as governor will be for our kids,” said Haaland. “We have the brightest students and the best educators. As governor I will always be looking for opportunities to open doors for our kids’ futures.”
