Deb Haaland Statement on Albuquerque Election Outcomes

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Deb Haaland, candidate for New Mexico governor, released the following statement on the outcome of the Albuquerque runoff election:

“Tonight’s election results show that New Mexicans stand up for each other and will not entertain a MAGA sympathizer to take the largest city in New Mexico backward. There are challenges ahead for Albuquerque and our state, but our communities can tackle them together and build a future in which life is affordable, health care is accessible, education delivers for our kids, and our neighborhoods are safe. Congratulations to all of tonight’s newly elected and re-elected public servants.”
