Major Network Removes Attack Ad in Victory for Haaland Campaign

Albuquerque, N.M. – In a victory for the Haaland for New Mexico campaign, Warner Brothers has agreed to stop airing an ad that included false information and misleading claims after receiving a cease-and-desist letter. The ad, paid for by MAGA-funded Accountable New Mexico, tried to mislead New Mexicans with false claims about Deb Haaland.

Hannah Menchhoff, campaign spokesperson released the following statement:

“Multiple press outlets have already found the claims in the ad were ‘misleading’ and ‘false.’

“Deb has long said that Jeffrey Epstein was a despicable predator who committed heinous crimes, and she supports a full investigation that brings justice to survivors. She never took a dime from Epstein and never flew on Epstein’s jet. These are false attacks funded by the donors of Sam Bregman, who has taken over $250,000 from MAGA supporters.

“Deb will always fight for the people of New Mexico, and she won’t back down.”
